How the Georeferencer works
Please help us locate our scanned maps on top of modern maps! To get a fast explanation of the process just watch the video on the right side.
By clicking on the button bellow you will be assigned with a random scanned map. You have to find on this old map a place visible on a modern map as well and click on both. Once you do that for 3 or more places the scanned map can be overlayed and visualized in Google Earth for the first time ever - just thanks to your contribution!
